Konrad Pütz is working at Transnova to increase the use of clean and renewable fuels. Transnova is a Norwegian public funding agency supporting projects mainly in the pilot and demonstration phase to reduce green house gas emissions from the transport sector.
He graduated in Naval Engineering at the Norwegian Naval Academy in Bergen/Norway in 1987 and in environmental economics at the University of Life Sciences outside Oslo in 1998.
Konrad Pütz has worked as chief engineer in the Norwegian Navy and on sailing vessels, as researcher at the Norwegian Insitute for Transport Economics and as policy advisor in Oslo and Brussels at the Bellona Foundation. In the period 2000-2005 he worked as program manager for Medecins sans Frontieres mostly in African countries.
Konrad Pütz joined Transnova in 2010 and is a member of Going-Electric.
